I definitely recommend tubing as a fun family activity, especially for those with older kids – it’s a blast! The Elm Creek Tubing Hill is located at Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove. The regular rate is $15 for two hours and $3 for each additional hour (sales tax not included), but if you go on Wednesdays you’ll get half off! Hours on Wednesdays are 4 – 9 pm, and it opens TODAY (Wednesday, December 18th)!
If you like sledding, you’ll love snow tubing. Ride a moving sidewalk up a hill 10 stories high and then soar back down on a specially designed inner tube. Once you get to the bottom, do it all over again. There are steeper chutes for the more daring and easier chutes for those looking for a more laid-back ride.
At Elm Creek in Maple Grove, all of the tubing lanes are designed for safety and fun. All you need are warm winter clothes—Three Rivers supplies the rest. Riders must be at least 36″ tall or 4 years of age.
