Maple Syrup Through History at The Landing

What better way to learn about the history of Maple Syrup, than by riding a horse-drawn trolley along the route?  The Landing, located in Shakopee has an event this Saturday called Maple Syrup Through History.  People will be dressed in period clothing, answering questions and explaining about the historical aspects of Maple Syrup in Minnesota.  It takes place this Saturday, March 18th from 10am-4pm.

Ride a horse-drawn trolley and visit with maple syrup makers from the past. Journey to the sugar bush with a naturalist from Richardson Nature Center and discover how the trees of Minnesota helped serve early pioneers. Perfect for scouts working on badge requirements. Last entry at 3 PM. Children 17 years and younger must be accompanied by a registered adult.
