Listen to live music, watch a magic show, shop from food trucks, and observe one of Minnesota’s largest fireworks displays at the Bloomington Summer Fete.
Join in the fun on Monday, July 3 from 5 pm – 10:30 pm. It’s time for the Bloomington Summer Fete, the true “ringing in” of Independence Day in the Twin Cities.
Although it doesn’t take place on the actual 4th of July, it might as well be as it has one of the state’s largest fireworks displays.
All the fun happens at Normandale Lake Park with free parking available in the adjacent ramps.
This year, the fun is focused around music at the bandshell main stage (beginning at 5 pm), featuring The Covers, Angelica Cantanti Youth Choir, and Medalist Concert Band.
The fireworks display begins around dusk (shortly after 10 pm), capping another great evening of Summer Fete fun.
There’s also a HUGE variety of food trucks to shop from. Choose from old favorites, classic festival options, and some new choices this year!
In addition, the Kids Stage and Family Fun Zone is packed with family-friendly entertainment. Be mesmerized with a magic show and watch a kids show. Choose to get your face painted, get a balloon animal, caricature, and more!
