2016 Skyway Open

2016 Skyway Open

Downtown Minneapolis is known to have a great skyway system, which of course is super helpful in the winter.  The 2016 Skyway Open is a golf event that takes place in the skyway.  It starts tomorrow (Feb 26th)  and continues through the weekend.  I will admit, some of the options are a bit pricey, but they do offer some great family package prices, as well as some options that are a bit more thrifty during the day. Either way, the event benefits Intersections: Downtown 2025 Plan‘s Committee to End Street Homelessness, so any ticket is money well spent.  Take a look at all the ticket options and times available here.

GRAB YOUR PUTTERS AND HIT THE SKYWAYS!

The Minneapolis Downtown Council is pleased to bring the 10th Annual Skyway Open Golf Tournament  back to Downtown Minneapolis. The event, featuring one-of-a-kind miniature golf holes, benefits the Intersections: Downtown 2025 Plan‘s Committee to End Street Homelessness. Golfers are invited out to the three-day event, held on Friday, February  26, Saturday, February 27 and Sunday, February 28.

This year the Skyway Open is expected to bring over 1000 golfers to the downtown skyway system, and is designed to draw all ages – from downtown professionals to families looking for children-friendly activities. Friday’s participation includes access to the course and to the 19th Hole Celebration.
