Perhaps you’ve never heard of Almelund MN?  Well, today’s the day to check it out. Located between North Branch and Taylors Falls on State Highway 95 at the intersection of Co. Rd. 12 & Hwy. 95. Follow the signs to Almelund’s 23rd Apple Festival today, September 18th. It takes place at AMADOR HERITAGE CENTER & Swedish Immigrant Log Farm, Almelund, MN from 11am-4pm today.

Kristi is married with twin girls in high school. She grew up on a small dairy farm, but now lives in the southern suburbs of the Twin Cities. She enjoys finding free or thrifty things to do whether they are outings close to home or last minute adventures to far-away places.
