Dig into history this Saturday at Historic Fort Snelling with Archaeology Day!
Archaeology Day is happening this Saturday, September 11 from 10 am – 3 pm at Historic Fort Snelling in St. Paul. At this event, you can visit the Under the Floorboards exhibit and see archaeologists in action as they prepare for next season.
You’ll also get a preview of findings from recent archaeological work. Watch a demonstration of flintknapping and experimental tool use, and get the opportunity to create your own tools!
This event is included with the cost of regular site admission. Purchase admission in advance for $8/person (children 5 and under are free). Free advance tickets are available for Native Americans, veterans, and active military, plus five family members.
Please note: Visitors are required to wear a face covering indoors at all times.
