I think some might have wondered if this event would take place. A mild start to the winter, not a ton of snow to start off, and some lakes barely freezing over. However, winter did arrive, a bit delayed but it arrived. So the 10 year tradition continues, and the Art Shanty Projects will happen. White Bear Lake is the place to be during weekends in February. The goal is that there will be things taking place each weekend, as long as the weather cooperates. Double check the website before heading out the other three weekends. This weekend Feb 6th and 7th hours are 10-4pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Directions can be found here. This is a free event, no tickets or reservations needed.
