We’ve mentioned the American Swedish Institute a few times and if you haven’t been to it yet, add it to your list. This Friday, December 21st is the annual ASI Winter Solstice Celebration. It takes place from 5-9. This special event is included in the general admission, no advance tickets needed, you can pay on arrival.
Mark the Winter Solstice – the shortest day and longest night of the year – at the American Swedish Institute! We’ll celebrate this powerful seasonal juncture with fun, festivity and performance during extended hours.
Take the opportunity to wander through the Mansion and view the “Handmade Holidays” exhibit after dark, immersing yourself in the beautifully decorated Nordic (and Czech) rooms.
Dress to enjoy ASI’s magical winter courtyard filled with lights, bonfires and – that’s right – live reindeer!
