This past weekend we had amazing weather, February felt more like April. Would love for it to be spring but we all know what the calendar says. Most likely there’ll still be snow, and if not snow, then for sure some rainy days ahead.
Do you already have stir crazy kids? I recently read about the Brown Family Adventure Park and it looks like a great option to burn off some energy! I also like the fact that it’s a place for various ages. Located in Ham Lake, and one important thing to note is they do NOT take credit cards. Although, there is a cash machine in the lobby just in case you forget.

The goal of The Brown family is to provide a clean, happy, nurturing and adventurous environment for children of all ages, while offering friendship and support to parents.
- An excellent gathering place for Holiday Get-Togethers, Birthday Parties, Athletic Teams, Field Trips, Licensed Day Cares, Pre/Elementary Schools, Private Events, and many other Social Events.
- Snack Bar offering a variety of food, including Pizza, Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Meal Deals and Healthy, Gluten-free Snacks just to name a few!

Kristi is married with twin daughters. She grew up on a small dairy farm, but now lives in the south metro area. She enjoys finding free or thrifty things to do whether they are outings close to home or last minute adventures to far-away places.
Kristi can also be found enjoying estate sales, attempting to garden, volunteering in the wetlands or a favorite thrift store, or maybe just enjoying a good play in one of the many theatre venues in the area.
