If you haven’t already visited the Bruentrup Heritage Farm in Maplewood, this upcoming Sunday or Monday is a great opportunity to check it out!
They’re hosting Summer Exhibit Open Houses which offer free admission from 11 am – 2 pm on the following dates:
- June 6 – 7
- July 12
- August 1 – 2
- September 5 – 6
At these free open houses, you’ll learn about the history of Maplewood and the Bruentrup Dairy Farm. Check out and interact with various exhibits, see a 1923 Pirsch fire truck, and get a guided tour of the farmhouse and buildings. Bring a picnic lunch and hang out for a while!
On Sundays they’ll also have demonstrations of vintage machines such as rope making, corn shelling, or woodworking along with crafts like corn husk dolls or spatter painting.
