Enjoy outdoor skating and movies at Cinema & Skates on Wayzata Bay on Lake Minnetonka!
During the winter we can find all sort of interesting events outdoors. Cinema and Skates is a fun event taking place near Wayzata and a chance to enjoy a winter evening. It’s an opportunity to catch an outdoor movie, sit by the firepit, and skate to your heart’s content.
Due to the cold, the event has been rescheduled to February 19 – 20…and it looks like the weather will warm up a little soon here, so fingers crossed that this new date sticks!
Bundle up and bring your skates (or a lawn chair) to watch one of the featured films on the big screen. Tickets are required ($10/person) and are limited to 250 people at any given time. Reserve your spot for the following dates/times/movies:
- Friday, February 19 | 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm featuring FROZEN 2
- Friday, February 19 | 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm featuring THE MIGHTY DUCKS
- Saturday, February 20 | 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm featuring THE CALL OF THE WILD
- Saturday, February 20 | 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm featuring MIRACLE
Other attractions include meeting Olaf during FROZEN 2, watching fireworks at 7 pm Friday, and/or bringing your pooch during THE CALL OF THE WILD.
Check in with your ticket at Wayzata Depot (402 E Lake St) and enter through Depot Park.
