Although the Dakota City Heritage Village is only open a few times each year, it’s a place to put on your bucket list. Visiting the village is like stepping back in time. This Friday from 10-2 they are opening up for a Friends and Family event. ALL are welcome to the FREE event.
The village is located in Farmington at the Dakota County Fair Grounds. Several buildings have been relocated and as you walk around, you’ll think you stepped back in time to small town America.
Information about the Friends and Family event:
FREE TO ALL – OPEN TO PUBLIC
Stroll through the Village and into selected buildings, staffed by costumed docents, as you visit 1900.
See demonstrations, participate in hands-on activities, and immerse yourself in life of long ago.
