Get your dancin’ shoes ready! Depot Dance Nights are back are back at Union Depot in St. Paul!
Set in the historic Waiting Room, Depot Dance Nights returns with lively evenings of professional dance lessons accompanied by spirited tunes from some of the Twin Cities’ most popular dance bands. It’s been on hiatus since 2015, it’s so exciting to get back to this community dance tradition!
Don’t worry- you don’t need any dance experience, Depot Dance Nights are open to any skill level. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy summer nights filled with music and movement!
Depot Dance Nights 2024
- Tuesday, June 25 – Swing Night featuring the high-energy sounds of Beasley’s Big Band
- Tuesday, July 16 – Salsa Night with the vibrant rhythms of Salsa del Soul
- Tuesday, August 20 – Ballroom Night orchestrated by The Jerry O’Hagan Orchestra
Each free event starts with a dance lesson from acclaimed instructor, Denny Hukriede from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by dancing from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A cash bar will be available throughout the evening to keep the spirits high and the steps lively.
