We just received word that tomorrow is a FREE entrance day to all of the MN State Parks. A great chance to walk, hike, ski or snowshoe in one of the state parks. Maybe check out a new one? Perhaps you feel like you’ve been kind of cooped up a little more this year with all of the rules and changes that carried over from 2020?. Time to go out and enjoy the great outdoors.
All 75 Minnesota state parks will have free entry February 13, 2020 – no vehicle permits needed!
Do you have a favorite park or maybe a couple of favorites? It’s so hard to choose just one favorite. There’re spots that we love to hike and there’re even favorite biking spots and of course our favorite place to snowshoe. Yes, simply too difficult to pick just one favorite!
Additional information and some future free days to put on your calendar:
Come experience your state parks! On four days in 2020, all 75 Minnesota state parks and state recreation areas will offer free admission to everyone. Mark your calendar for these fee-free dates:

Minnesota state parks are open year-round, and there’s a state park within 30 miles of most Minnesotans. With a free day in each season, it’s a great opportunity to get out there and explore someplace new – or visit an old favorite at a new time of year! Whether you stay for the whole weekend or just spend a few hours outside, you’ll make memories that will last a lifetime.
The entrance fee waiver for fee-free days does not cover amenity or user fees for activities like camping, rentals, or special tours.
