We love to go to drive-in movies and although my hometown still has a Drive in theatre, it’s also a few hours away. If you happen to be looking for a free family event, the Free Drive-in Movie in Bloomington takes place June 27th from 8-11pm at the Bloomington Ice Garden.
It’s important to note that the event will first come first serve and is limited to the first 250 people per the governor’s Phase III executive order. Check back on the event FB page for the movie announcement to see what will be playing. UPDATE: The movie has been announces as The Secret Life of Pets 2!
Additional important information:
Gates open at 8 p.m. and movie begins at 9 p.m. A poll will be posted to determine which movie will be played. You must enter using the West entrance. Cars will be parked in every other space for social distancing. Please stay in your vehicle unless using the portable restrooms provided. One household per car. Stay home if you are sick.
Per the governor’s Phase III executive order, the drive-in movie audience is limited to a maximum of 250 people. If guidance from state leadership changes before June 27, we may modify this number.
