Have you been enjoying summer with all these warm days? The evenings have been our favorite, a little cooler and watching the sunsets.
One evening a week can be even more fun with the Friday Night Outdoor Movies in Faribault. The Faribault Parks and Recreation just announced they will have movies the next five Friday evenings.
They have a great line up of movies for the whole family:
July 10th Frozen 2
July 17th Grease
July 31st Incredibles 2
August 7th Toy Story 4
August 14 Lion King
I’m not sure which movie I am most excited about, they all sound fun. The Movies will start roughly 30 minutes after sunset. They ask that you practice social distancing and sit with your family.
They have some benches but bringing your own chairs or blankets wouldn’t be a bad idea as you never know how many people there will be. You might be like us, we have extra chairs in our trunk the whole summer.
Of course we also need to mention that you should bring your own popcorn and mosquito repellent. The bugs seem worse this summer than the past couple – or at least that’s what it seems like to me.
Have you found some fun outdoor things to do in the evenings? An outdoor movie or perhaps some walking in the neighborhood? I know we’ve been using our fire-pit more and making fun snacks to enjoy while we sit outdoors.
