The Lino Lakes Blue Heron Days, takes place August 16-18th. One of the highlights of the event is the parade, on the the 17th at 11am. Along with the parade are a lot of other great events and activities to choose from as well:
- Petting zoo
- Carnival
- Family Picnic
- Family Barbeque
- Live Kids Entertainment “The Bazillions”
- Waldoch Farm Garden Tour/Corn Feed and much more.

The first Lino Lakes Blue Heron Days Festival was held in 2004. Blue Heron Days was so named because Lino Lakes has the second largest Blue Heron rookery in the state. The Blue Heron has been the city logo for many years, symbolizing the area’s beauty and natural amenities.
