The feathers, dancing and the sounds of a Powwow are all things that stick in your mind if you’ve ever attended one. The Memorial Day Powwow is an event held at the Mille Lacs Indian Museum and Trading Post near Onamia. The event is free to attend however if you wish to tour the museum there is a cost. *Museum is free for children age 4 and under, MNHS members and Mille Lacs Band members w/ID
Bring the family and join museum staff and community members in this social gathering honoring veterans past and present. Experience firsthand the excitement and joy of a contemporary powwow.
