National Public Lands Day is coming up soon, and St. Paul is joining in on the celebration with an event taking place this Saturday, September 28th from 11 am – 3 pm at Hidden Falls Regional Park. This event is FREE and open to all.
Celebrate our public lands by being active and engaged with your friends and family in a variety of educational and recreational activities at Hidden Falls Regional Park. Paddle a canoe on the Mississippi, shoot a bow and arrow, see the park from above at the tree climbing station, and more! Come down to the water’s edge to try out different ways of enjoying our public lands. No experience necessary. Saint Paul Parks and Recreation, Minnesota DNR, Urban Roots, REI and many other partner organizations will be on hand with a variety of activities for you and your family to enjoy. Pack a picnic or enjoy the food truck. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
They do ask that you consider taking the bus, biking, walking, or parking in the neighborhood and walking down to the park if you’re able so that parking near the event is available for guests with limited mobility and/or small children.
For more information, visit the event website or Facebook page.
