Occasionally the Minnesota History Center offers a free admission day, with a specific theme. This coming Saturday, November 4th happens to be the next free admission event day. The theme for the all day event is Native American Family Day, an opportunity to learn about the Native American Culture and Heritage. It takes place from noon-4pm. There will be activities going on throughout the History Center. You can find more specifics about the History Center as well as the special event here on their website.
Enjoy free admission during this special day featuring speakers and artists from local Native American communities who will share their histories and cultures.
Plus, explore the exhibit “Renewing What They Gave Us” which features original beadwork, birch bark and textile pieces by Native American artists from the Upper Midwest, who spent six months in residence exploring the MNHS collections.
