Yes it’s almost 2020, not sure where the year went. Are you thinking the same thing? We like to celebrate the New Year as a family and one of our favorite indoor New Year events is the NOON Year’s Party at Como Zoo. A great event for the whole family. The best part is that you have two options to choose from, December 31st or January 1st. Music, Crafts and fun for all ages. Plus it’s free, so a great thrifty option.
Additional information about celebrating the New Year at Como Zoo:
Ring in the New Year at Como! Bring the whole family from 10am – 1pm and help us celebrate with our party animals. We’ve ditched the plastic beach ball drop and made an environmental choice to go GREEN….and BLUE and RED and YELLOW and PURPLE and ORANGE as we rain down from above hundreds of thousands of pieces of colorful biodegradable confetti at HIGH NOON on December 31 and again on January 1.
Doors open at 10am with rockin’ tunes, dancing and games from Twin Cities Road Crew on December 31 and the DJs of Kidsdance on January 1
Kids can make their own count-down craft, take a silly selfie at our selfie station, get creative at our face painting station, and parents can chat with our friends from Xcel Energy about ways to save some “green” on their energy bills.
There will be games, dancing, zookeeper talks, giveaways, and contests as we count down to the Noon Year.
Noon Year’s Celebration is free with activities from 10am-1pm on Monday, December 31 and Tuesday, January 1st in Como Park Zoo & Conservatory’s Visitor Center.
