If you enjoy biking and history, check out the The Pedaling The Past series. The tour series focuses on the unique environmental history of areas in Scott County. The next one coming up on August 10th focuses on Prior Lake. Tours last approximately 2 hours with frequent stops for discussion and to look at photographs! The Prior Lake tour starts at Dakotah Sports and Fitness.
This event is sponsored by the Scott County Historical Museum. It’s open to participants ages 10 and up; participants under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. **This is a bring your own bike event, no bikes provided and helmets ARE required.
Important to note, there is a small $5 fee to participate (Scott County Historical Museum members are free). Reservations can made in advance here.
If you can’t make it on the 10th, there will be one more in the series, taking place September 14th in Shakopee.
