Mixed Precipitation performance company has taken their show on the road this summer with the Pickup Truck Opera!
This action-packed outdoor opera adventure is all packed onto a pickup truck. The show is an adaption of Homer’s Odyssey and uses selections from the opera Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria, told with the spirit of a country carnival.
They describe it as “Italian Baroque, Dolly Parton tunes, and ancient epic mythology.” The performance runs approximately 75 – 90 minutes and is family-friendly. There is a suggested donation of $10 – $25 per person to help with expenses, but all are welcome.
