Pumpkin Nights opened this past Friday, October 13th and runs daily through Sunday, October 29th. It’s open Sunday-Thursday from 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm and Friday-Saturday from 6:30 pm – midnight.
What it is: a Twin Cities Halloween tradition set up at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds throughout the month of October
What you’ll see: more than 4,000 hand-carved pumpkins, larger-than-life displays, and multi-sensory experiences in 10 incredible worlds
What you’ll do: Pumpkin Nights invites visitors to experience the essence of Halloween, while walking along a half-mile path. There are also nightly events throughout the festival, including Halloween-themed movies, onsite pumpkin carving artists, a hay-bale maze, and a variety of food and seasonal beverages.
What to wear: Costumed aren’t just welcome—they’re encouraged. Masks are permitted, but props and weapons should be kept at home.
If you’ve been thinking about checking out Pumpkin Nights at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds this month for some fall family fun, here’s a deal from Groupon to help you save on admission:
- $15 for one adult general-admission ticket (up to $22.09 value)
- $13 for one child/senior general-admission ticket (up to $17.87 value)
Children 3 and under are always free, and there is a limit of 8 tickets per person. You will need to redeem your Groupon vouchers online in advance and choose a date and time you’re planning to visit.
They do have other discounts that might save you more depending on when you want to go and who you’re bringing:
Mondays and Wednesdays: Get 2 adult and 2 kid tickets for $48 ($72 value).
