Don’t let the cold weather keep you indoors. Even the crisp cool air has some great health benefits as long as you dress right. If you are 62+ you are invited to join others on November 19th for a nature walk next week in Burnsville. A great opportunity to learn how birds, deer and other animals adapt to winter. Afterwards you can warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee. Register by the 18th here.
Do you have a favorite place to hike in the winter that we can share with our readers, maybe you have to wear snowshoes or maybe it’s a nice groomed trail where only boots are required. Either way, let’s celebrate winter and get out and enjoy it. After all it appears to be arriving a little early this year. Hopefully early here means early gone. We enjoyed a hike in Theadore Wirth park in Minneapolis recently, so add that to your list if you’ve never been.
