It might be a warmer than normal January but we can still have some winter fun! The Big Chill Winter Party in Chaska takes place Saturday, January 11th from 12-3. Note that this year it’s earlier in the day and on a Saturday. In the past it’s been on a Friday. Hopefully that means more of you can make it.
A family friendly event for all ages, with all the fun taking place at Fireman’s Park. No Registration needed. Some of the fun includes:
- Ice skate on the frozen clayhole (weather permitting) to DJ music!
- ice skating games
- kick sledding by Carver County Parks
- free hot chocolate
- Bring your skates (no skate rental available) and come out for some ice skating fun!
There are so many great free events this time year, there’s really no excuse to stay indoors and say there’s nothing to do just because it’s winter. Put on an extra layer of clothing and get outside and have some fun!
