There’s so much to see in the Twin Cities, and there are probably plenty of places that you pass by regularly but don’t really know about.
This upcoming weekend is a great chance to get out there and explore Minneapolis and St. Paul! The Cultural Landscape Foundation is hosting What’s Out There Weekend, featuring free, expert-led tours of various parks, gardens, landscapes, and open spaces.
All tours are free, but attendance is limited and registration is required. Register on Eventbrite for the tour(s) you’re planning to attend. Note that some tours are bike tours, and you’ll need to provide your own bike.
There are 17 (!) different tours to choose from, so you’ll want to peruse the whole list to see what’s available. Some locations include:
- University of Minnesota
- U.S. Bank Stadium
- Lakewood Cemetery
- Nicollet Island Pavilion
- Minnehaha Falls
- Theodore Wirth Regional Park
- Mill Ruins Park
- Harriet Island
- Capitol
- Como Park
- Sculpture Garden
- and more!
Visit the event website and the Eventbrite page for more information.
