The Albert Lea Minnesota Community Kite Festival is flying in on Saturday, August 24th!
Head to Albert Lea for their annual Albert Lea Minnesota Community Kite Festival on Saturday, August 24th from 11am – 4pm at Edgewater Park. This year’s theme is “Let Inclusion Fly.”
You cannot miss this festival– it’s co-hosted by Great American Kites & Events and will feature some of the biggest kites in North America! Plus there’s so much more to do for the whole family. There will be free face painting, dunk tank, & balloon twisting, as well as kites for purchase. Food vendors will also be on-site selling tasty treats!
Don’t forget to bring your own chair to enjoy the view of the kites from the field. The event is weather dependent, so keep your fingers crossed for good weather! Pets and alcohol are not allowed at this event.
The best part about this festival? All proceeds will be used to create the About All Together Albert Lea Inclusive Playground & Miracle Field, so that all children in Albert Lea and the surrounding areas have access to a playground that fits their needs.
