June 5- 9, head to Albertville for Friendly City Days: a fun festival for the whole family!
I have to admit that most of my memories in Albertville are at the Albertville Outlet Mall. Let’s be honest- it really is a good outlet mall! But Albertville also hosts a fun and free annual festival called Albertville’s Friendly City Days!
From June 5th- 9th, head to Albertville for a little of everything. There’s live music, a carnival, fireworks, parade, spaghetti dinner and more! Many of the events are free, keep reading for how to save on your Friendly City Days Carnival wristband.
There are so many events going on during Albertville’s Friendly City Days, I’m going to highlight a few that I think would be perfect for families. You can see the whole Friendly City Days schedule on their website.
On Wednesday, June 5th, the Carnival opens at 4pm and it’s wristband night! There’s also Family Bingo, Eureka Aerial Performance and Alfy’s Robotic Puppets. On Thursday, June 6th, there’s Game Night, an Acme Magic Factory Show, REMAX Tethered Balloon Rides and more.
On Friday, June 7th, there’s Pond Hockey Tournament, tons of live music and fireworks show. on Saturday, June 8th, there’s a Pancake Breakfast, Toddler Town event, tractor pull, spaghetti dinner and more. Lastly on Sunday, June 9th, it’s Carnival wristband day again starting at 11am, plus the parade.

Friendly City Days Discount Carnival Wristbands
A big favorite of Friendly City Days is the carnival and honestly if you are going with kids, the best deal is getting a wristband! Carnival wristband days are Wednesday, June 5th and Sunday, June 9th. You can purchase discount ride tickets ahead of the event- saving up to 20% at Ace of Albertville, Coborn’s, Don’s Auto, Casey’s General Store, Emma’s Express, BJ’s Sports Tavern, Kremer’s Toy & Hobby, Neighbors Eatery & Saloon, 152 Club, Marathon, Premier Bank, Center Cut Meats, Westside Liquor and Bravera Bank.
