Local Twin Cities author and watercolor artist, Jessica Buhman, has a new book called Animals, ABCs and Me: Minnesota Edition. You can check out her new book at a book reading + art sale on December 14th!
We love highlighting local authors, creators and businesses here at Thrifty Minnesota! When we found out about her new book: Animals, ABCs and Me: Minnesota Edition by Jessica Buhman, we knew we had to share it with our readers.
Jessica Buhman is a local author and watercolor artist. Her creations are absolutely beautiful and we love the connection to Minnesota! Animals, ABCs and Me: Minnesota Edition features her gorgeous watercolor creations with local tie-ins to animals from our great state.
This is Jessica’s second alphabetical affirmation book. Each page is beautifully illustrated with a different affirmation and animal characteristic, corresponding with each letter of the alphabet. I could definitely see reading this to my two year as it would be a great way to learn about animals and build confidence with the affirmations.
To celebrate her newest book, Jessica will be stopping by Showtime Studio and Coffee in Roseville on Saturday, December 14th for book readings and an art sale. Readings of Animals, ABCs and Me: Minnesota Edition will be 10:30am and 12pm with time in-between for book signing. There will also be live music at the event!
Jessica has also written and illustrated two other books: Animals, ABCs and Me: an alphabetical affirmation book and Tired Mama Bear. You can find her watercolor creations for sale on her website.
