Did you know Mall of America releases thousands of ladybugs every year to help keep their plants healthy? You can join in the fun and help release them for free!
Mall of America is home to over 30,000 live plants and trees! Did you know they cannot use harmful pesticides to keep the plants pest-free? Instead they release ladybugs every year in April to keep their plants healthy throughout the mall. Even better– they invite the public to help release them for free!
This year the Annual Ladybug Release at Mall of America is on Tuesday, April 7th at 6am! The ladybug release takes place inside Nickelodeon Universe. Both adults and kids are welcome to attend, just sign up on the Mall of America website and more information will be sent out to you.
As a special bonus – when you sign up to release the ladybugs, you will also receive 100 MOA Insiders® Bonus Points. This offer will be available in the Mall of America App when you log-in with the email used to register for this event.
I’d love to attend, but that 6am time sounds a little too early for me! But the pictures from last year sure look like fun.
