Diwali: Festival of Lights at Midtown Global Market is a free, family-friendly celebration of Indian culture happening this Saturday, November 4th.
The Hindu Society of Minnesota presents “Diwali: Festival of Lights at Midtown Global Market” on Saturday, November 4th from 12-3pm.
Diwali is India’s most important festival of the year—a time to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil.
This free and family friendly event will include:
• Dancing – classical Bollywood, folk, and semi-classical
• Live musical performances featuring singers and skit playing
• A fashion show with models wearing ensembles from around India
Ramp and street parking are available at Midtown Global Market. Ramp parking is located off of Lake Street and 10th Ave. Additional event information can be found on the event Facebook page.
