Looking for fun, budget-friendly ways to get out and explore the South Metro this fall? Mark your calendar for Eagan Art Block, returning September 12 through September 26, 2026!

Presented by the Eagan Art House alongside local community partners, this two-week celebration turns Eagan into a hub of creativity with hands-on workshops, outdoor trails, live music, film screenings, and family activities. Best of all, almost every event is completely free to attend!
Featured Free & Low-Cost Highlights
Whether you want to drop in for a quick scavenger hunt with the kids or spend a quiet morning outdoors, there is plenty scheduled across the two weeks:
- Crayon Quest Scavenger Hunt (Sept 12–26): A fun, self-guided outdoor adventure for kids at Patrick Eagan Park.
- Art on Fire Open House (Saturday, Sept 12 | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM): Kick off the festival at the Eagan Art House with hands-on art projects and live demonstrations.
- Caponi Art Park Activities (Multiple Dates): Drop by to experience the interactive Sound Garden Installation (daily 12–4 PM), try Forest Bathing (Sept 12), or join sculpture and music workshops.
- Free Sound Bath (Sunday, Sept 13 | 7:00 PM): Relax and recharge at All Saints Lutheran Church.
- Miniature Book Binding Workshop (Wednesday, Sept 23 | 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM): Learn a unique new craft at Dakota County’s Wescott Library branch.
- Eagan Film Festival (Sept 25 & 26): Catch local film screenings hosted at the Emagine Theater in Eagan.
