Want to see the newest movies before they hit theaters — for free? Thrifty Minnesota regularly shares free advance movie screening opportunities happening around the Twin Cities. Bookmark this page and check back often, since screenings are announced on short notice and passes typically go fast!
How Free Advance Screenings Work
Movie studios often partner with local sites like ours to give away free passes to advance screenings before a film’s official release. These screenings are first-come, first-served or require an RSVP through a specific link, and passes usually don’t guarantee a seat, since theaters often overbook to account for no-shows. Arrive early!
