Classical music lovers are in for a treat this weekend with performances of Brahms Requiem by the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra in collaboration with the Edina Chorale and Two Rivers Chorale.
The concerts, one Friday and one Sunday, feature guest soloists soprano Emma Davis and baritone Gerard Sundberg. The program begins with Josuha Bauder’s Arise and Lili Boulanger’s D’un soir triste, leading into the performance of Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem.

The first performance is Friday, February 28, from 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm at Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie.
The second is Sunday, March 2, from 3pm to 5pm at Benson Great Hall at Bethel University.
Both performances are free and open to the public with no advance tickets required, but donations are gratefully accepted.
