Head to your local Michaels for one of these In-Store Free Craft Experiences!
Did you know Michaels hosts free In-Store Craft Experiences? I have to admit I’ve shopped Michaels for years and didn’t know about these free events!
Classes are available for kids and adults!
Coming up Sunday, April 21st, is Totally Tie Dye for ages 13+. This one does require a t-shirt purchase (which you can usually get for as low as $2.99). The event and all other supplies are completely free, but does require online registration. You can find your store location and register here.
Mark your calendar for these upcoming In-Store Craft Experiences

-Sunday, May 5th, ages 13+, Yayoi Kusama Inspired Painting
-Saturday, May 11th, kids ages 4 and up, Kangaroo Mother’s Day Card

More about Michaels Online Experiences
Michaels also has Online Experiences which are basically free online craft workshops. They give you a detailed list of supplies, which you can choose to buy at Michaels or elsewhere. The classes are taught by artists. I took a few of these during the pandemic and they were very fun and insightful! Currently Michaels has a bunch of jewelry, crochet and kids classes online. You can find the full list and sign up here.
I can’t wait to check one of these experiences out at Michaels with my kids, or with a friend!
