It’s a fun and action-packed marketplace where you can see the latest in home improvements, shop for home-related products and services, see stunning displays designed to help inspire your next home project, connect with industry experts, and enjoy informative presentations from renowned local and international home professionals.
Minneapolis Home + Remodeling Show Main Stage Expert Guests
The main stage has a full schedule all throughout the weekend with demos, informational presentations and more. You can hear from both local experts and national celebrities.
If you like to watch home-related shows on TV you likely have seen Tamara Day and Minnesota sisters Lindsey Uselding and Kirsten Meehan from Renovation 911.
Tamara Day of HGTV’s “Bargain Mansions”
Designer and host, Tamara Day, seeks to make the aspirational attainable for the clients and fans of her renovation projects. Tamara has restored neglected Kansas City homes for four seasons on “Bargain Mansions,” originally on DIY, HGTV and now on Magnolia Network.
Her style, coined “Laid Back Luxe,” is synonymous with blending glamour, comfort, and family into the spaces she designs – something she personally prioritizes.
As a busy mother of four, Tamara believes homes should be both beautiful and low maintenance because life is stressful enough.
She will be appearing on stage Friday, February 2 and Saturday, February 3.
Lindsey Uselding and Kirsten Meehan of HGTV’s “Renovation 911”
If you haven’t yet watched Lindsey and Kirsten’s show, you need to! My husband and I love it. The fact that all the homes the take on are local makes it all that more interesting.
Award-winning, Minnesota based disaster restoration experts and co-owners of Practical Home and Ungerman Inc., Lindsey Uselding and Kirsten Meehan are the co-hosts of HGTV’s “Renovation 911,” now streaming on MAX, Apple TV, Hulu Live, YouTube TV, and Discovery+. Their goal is to showcase design forward, savvy solutions and practical tips for any homeowner.
Lindsey is the first person homeowners talk to when they’re facing an emergency in their home. Kirsten then takes charge of construction and design while bringing humor and empathy. Together they help clients see past distress and create completely transformed homes that are better than ever.
Lindsey and Kirsten have also launched Practical Home, a home safety, prevention, and lifestyle company.
They will be appearing at the show Friday, February 2 and Sunday, February 4.
Virginia Chamlee – Author of “Big Thrift Energy”
People magazine writer and lifelong vintage collector Virginia Chamlee knows how to shop a thrift store. She is an expert at finding incredible things (like Christian Dior capes at Goodwill or $10,000 trunks for less than $100 at consignment shops).
After sourcing vintage for A-list celebrities and designers for years, she compiled all her tips in her book, “Big Thrift Energy.” The best-selling book has been featured in Architectural Digest, the Washington Post, and was named one of Elle Magazine’s 50 Most Stylish Coffee Table Books.
Virginia will be presenting on the Main Stage each day of the show.

We love Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity ReStore! It’s a home improvement outlet where we, the public, can shop for quality donated home furnishings, furniture, and building supplies way below original cost. The revenue from ReStore’s two locations in Minneapolis and New Brighton supports Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity’s work building, rehabbing, and repairing homes for local families.
At the show, ReStore is hosting a contest to highlight Twin Citians’ crafting talents where local individuals upcycle a small item to be displayed at the show and guests vote to select a winner.
Tomorrow’s Designer Showcase Presented by Dunwoody College of Technology
New to the show this year is a showcase of the unique works of Dunwoody Students. As part of their official curriculum, they were challenged to create a lighting fixture to be displayed at the Minneapolis Home + Remodeling Show. Check out their brilliant creations!

Hello, I’m trying to purchase the 2 for $12 tickets to the MPLS home and remodeling show via the above link and it is not working. Any suggestions?
Chrysa says
Unfortunately, that offer was just for advance purchases. Now that the show is so close they don’t have them available any more. 🙁
Jon Nordstrom says
I did purchase the two for 12 about 2 weeks before the show. I did not have them printed but opt for bar code . Do not recall how to now find them on my phone.

If you purchased through the Daily Deals site, I would try to contact their customer service ASAP. They have a contact form here: https://www.dailydealstwincities.com/customer-service

What do you need if you are in the healthcare field or renovation building professional. Does a badge or business card work to get in?
Chrysa says
The info from their site states, “HERO DAY is everyday! All active and retired military personnel, fire, police, and healthcare professionals get FREE show admission with a valid ID at the Box Office.”
