You can check out a gigantic rubber duck race in Minneapolis this weekend at the Minnehaha Duck Race!
It’s not every day you can say you’re heading out to watch TONS of rubber ducks race downstream, but this Saturday, May 4th from 11am to 2pm — you can!
While the duck race and the raffle are sold out for this year’s Minnehaha Duck Race, there is so much more to do than just that! Head to the 12th Ave. Bridge & Minnehaha Parkway at 11am for the duck race that will finish with a neighborhood festival at 17th Ave. & Minnehaha Parkway.
The Festival is open to all and includes free face painting, a bubble artist, food trucks, a firetruck visit and fun activities and tables from Minneapolis Parks’ Arborists, Hennepin County Libraries, Elmer the Tree, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, We Garden on 15th, Hale and Field Elementaries and more.
The 4th Annual Minnehaha Duck Race is sponsored by the Field Regina Northrop Neighborhood Group. And don’t worry- all the rubber duckies are collected and used year after year. My family and I can’t wait to check out this fun and free family event!
