The Moose is Loose in Grand Marais during the annual Moose Madness Family Festival October 16th -18th.
Are you heading up north for MEA weekend? If you are planning to be in Grand Marais, you should check out the Moose Madness Family Festival Thursday, October 16th- Saturday, October 18th.
There are so many free fun family activities going on including: the Moose on a Stoop educational scavenger hunt, the Grand Marais State Bank Moose Medallion Hunt, Moose Safari driving routes and more!
Through all these activities you can enjoy the outdoors and learn a few facts about their celebrated moose mascot. You can read about the entire schedule of events on the Visit Cook County website.
There are many participating businesses as well, each with a different activity, game, sale or other fun opportunity.
It’s also Family Weekend at the North House Folk School in Grand Marais, where they will have drop in family activities Friday and Saturday 10 am- 4pm.
