Ready to eat some fresh baked pies? Head to Braham, MN for their 34th Annual Pie Day on Friday, August 2nd!
Did you know Braham is the Homemade Pie Capital of Minnesota? I didn’t know that was even a thing, but it’s true! Starting in the 1930s and 1940s, travelers would stop in Braham on the way to and from Duluth for a slice of pie and coffee. So in 1990, Gov. Rudy Perpich named Braham the Homemade Pie Capital of Minnesota!
You can join in the fun and try their famous pie during the 34th Annual Pie Day on Friday, August 2nd. There will be lots of pie to eat, of course, plus pie contests, a pie auction and a pie eating contest! Besides the pie, you can join in the hunt for the Pie Day Medallion, catch some amazing music and performers all day long on the Performing Arts Stage, shop at the fun craft fair, check out the cars at the Collector Car Show and more.
Braham Pie Day and Park Café serve over 1000 homemade and artisan pies during one Pie Day celebration!
Pie Day goes from 7am to 5:30pm on Friday, August 2nd. You can find a full schedule of events on their website. There will be limited parking for the event and everyone is encouraged to use the free park and ride shuttles located at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Braham Event Center, St. Stephens Lutheran Church and Braham Evan. Covenant Church.
