🐤 The World’s Largest Rubber Duck
One of the biggest (literally!) highlights is the arrival of Mama Duck, the world-famous giant rubber duck. Don’t miss your chance to see this 6-story tall floating friend up close!
Duck Viewing Hours:
- Thursday: 4 PM – 8 PM
- Friday & Saturday: 10 AM – 6 PM
- Sunday: 11 AM – 5 PM
🚨 Pro tip: If you’re coming from a distance, check the weather (especially for wind conditions) before heading out. The duck is tough, but weather updates may be posted on the Princeton Chamber Facebook page.

🔍 Medallion Hunt & City-Wide Garage Sales
Starting Thursday, follow daily clues on the Chamber Facebook page to participate in the Medallion Hunt. The hunt continues until the medallion is found!
And don’t forget to hunt for treasures around town at the City-Wide Garage Sales, also kicking off Thursday!
🎉 Parade, Food Trucks, and Fun
Also on Thursday, the Rum River Festival Parade rolls through town! And check out the Vendor Fair, food trucks, and plenty of fun for all ages.
🐥 Lucky Duck Drop – Friday Night
Head to Princeton High School Pool Friday evening for the Lucky Duck Drop! Watch to see if your duck gets picked and enjoy all the excitement.
🏃♂️ 5K Run, World Record Attempt, and More – Saturday
Start Saturday morning with the Rum River Festival 5K Run/Walk, then spend the day enjoying vendors, food, and another chance to visit the World’s Largest Rubber Duck.
One of the weekend’s biggest events is the attempt to break the world record for the largest game of Duck, Duck, Gray Duck! Organizers need 2,200 people, so make sure to register here to be part of Minnesota history.
🍳 Sunday Breakfast & Final Duck Viewing
Wrap up your weekend with a hearty breakfast served by the Princeton Lion’s Club on Sunday morning, then stop by for one last visit with Mama Duck before she floats away!
