Got some time this weekend? Winona’s Minnesota Marine Art Museum (MMAM) normally hosts 2nd Saturdays with discount admission and special activities, but due to COVID-19, they’re bringing the festivities online for the remainder of 2020.
Inspired by our collections, exhibitions, local artists, and talented staff and volunteers, virtual Second Saturdays will offer some of our favorite components of the on-site program that you can do at home, plus some interactive elements that we could only offer online!
Each Second Saturday has a new theme to explore. This Saturday’s theme is Shaping Waters: The Mighty Mississippi. Upcoming dates and themes include:
- October 10th: On Cloud Nine: Exploring the Skies & Landscapes of MMAM
- December 12th: Art Lore: Storytelling through Art
