Indoor Farmers Markets are a Minnesota winter tradition, offering a cozy escape where you can find everything from root vegetables, baked goods and homemade salsa to artisan cheese, fresh meats and honey. Don’t forget the handmade gifts!

Market in the Valley (Golden Valley)

  • Location: Brookview Community Center
  • Winter Schedule: 2nd Sunday of the month, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Runs from November through March).

Hopkins Farmers Winter Market

  • Location: Hopkins Activity Center
  • Winter Schedule: Select Saturdays, 9 a.m. – noon (Typically runs from November through mid-December).

Maple Grove Farmers Market

  • Location: Maple Grove Community Center (Indoors)
  • Winter Schedule: Select weekday afternoons, 3 – 6 p.m. (Check their website for specific dates in November and December).

Mill City Farmers Market (Minneapolis)

  • Location: Inside the Mill City Museum
  • Winter Schedule: 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Runs from November through April).

Northeast Farmers Market (Minneapolis)

  • Location: Quincy Hall (1325 Quincy Street NE)
  • Winter Schedule: 2nd Sunday of the month, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Runs from November through April).

Neighborhood Roots Markets (Minneapolis)

  • Location: Bachman’s Indoor Greenhouse (6010 Lyndale Ave S)
  • Winter Schedule: Select Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Typically runs from November through March).

Minnetonka Winter Farmers Market

  • Location: Minnetonka Community Center
  • Winter Schedule: Occasional Saturdays throughout the winter season. (Always check the city calendar for date confirmation).

Oakdale Indoor Farmers Market

  • Location: Discovery Center
  • Winter Schedule: Select Saturdays, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Typically runs from November through March).

Prior Lake Farmers Market

  • Location: Indoor location near Lunds on Hwy 13
  • Winter Schedule: Select Saturdays (Check their website for specific dates in November and December).

Richfield Winter Market

What to Find at a Winter Farmers Market

If you’re new to winter shopping, you might be surprised by the bounty. While fresh tomatoes are out, you can expect to find:

  • Year-Round Staples: Eggs, meats (beef, pork, poultry), cheese, butter, honey, and maple syrup.
  • Storage Crops: Potatoes, onions, carrots, squash, garlic, and cabbage.
