Celebrate winter at SnowBLAST in Columbia Heights this weekend!
This year Columbia Heights is celebrating the 5th annual SnowBLAST! It’s a fun opportunity for community members and visitors to come together to make the most out of everything that is a Minnesota Winter.
There are lots of events going on Saturday, February 1, from 4 to 7 pm at Huset Park at 3965 Jefferson St NE. Enjoy live music, pony rides and entering the name a snowplow contest.
There are fire pits and s’mores as well as a food truck and hot cocoa. The Lions club will also have beer sales.
Get active with ice skating, sledding, hay rides, hockey and snow soccer – although the lack of snow and warm weather this year might alter those plans a bit.
If you’re able, please bring a donation for the Columbia Heights Police Department winter clothing supply drive.
