Join In the Heart of the Beast for World Puppetry Day on Saturday, March 21st!
In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre is collaborating with Twin Cities Puppet Guild and puppeteers all over the world through Unima, to host a day of activities on World Puppetry Day, Saturday March 21st! The event is free to attend and will include activities like a puppet slam show, hands-on activities and more.
In addition, Tom Tuke will be performing “The City That Slept” at 7:30pm both Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st. Tickets to the show are $10/each and can be purchased on their website.
World Puppetry Day Schedule
10:30am: Puppet Slam- a short style show featuring a variety of different puppetry
11:30-12:30pm: Hands-on activities, information tables and puppet history presentation
7:30pm “The City That Slept” performance by Tom Tuke (tickets are $10/each)
