It’s the start of fall, y’all! The AppleHouse at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum officially opens for the season on Thursday, August 22nd!
I cannot wait until fall- I love everything pumpkin spice, visiting the apple orchard, trick or treating and so much more! One sure sign that fall is around the corner is the opening of the AppleHouse at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum on Thursday, August 22nd.
The AppleHouse is a seasonal destination where you can find all things apples, including all the speciality varieties grown by the University of Minnesota. Did you know the U of M has created 29 varieties of apples? How cool is that?
Besides the apples, you can find gourmet packaged foods, frozen apple pies, pastries, packaged gourmet goodies, gifts and — in the fall — pumpkins, squash and gourds also grown at the Arboretum at the AppleHouse. You can even call each day to listen to a recorded message (612-301-3487) to find out which apples are currently in stock.
Starting in early November, the AppleHouse turns into a Holiday Boutique filled with treats and gifts.
The AppleHouse is free to visit and has free parking on site. It’s located at 7485 Rolling Acres Rd, Victoria, MN 55386. The AppleHouse is open 9am – 6pm daily through December 20th, 2024.
