Asia Mall in Eden Prairie

Head to the Asia Mall in Eden Prairie for a unique experience finding Asian groceries, picking up live seafood, dining at the top local Asian restaurants and more all under one roof!

My son and I decided to venture to Asia Mall in Eden Prairie last weekend. I was intrigued with the website and some pictures I saw online, because it’s not every day we can check out an authentic Asian market in Minnesota!

We had an awesome time checking out the Asia Mall together! Of course a big draw is the Asian Market, filled with speciality produce, grocery items and more. We enjoyed looking around and seeing things we had never seen before. Then we had to stop and get a Boba Tea along with some Mochi donuts– both were delicious!

There were quite a few restaurants that smelled amazing! We didn’t have time to get a meal, but I would definitely plan on eating there next time. (Chrysa has tried several of the restaurants and I’ll let her chime in below.)

Besides food, there were also a couple speciality stores that were fun to look around in, especially for my son who loves Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z.

Lastly, we had a lot of fun playing the claw games in the arcade area! Claw machines are very popular in Asian countries and I can see why! Here each token was $1, with all the stuffed animal machines costing one token to play. There was also a selection of machines that were more expensive where you were guaranteed a mystery item or small character.

Asia Mall Restaurants

Hey there – this is Chrysa chiming in now because I LOVE the food options at Asia Mall! While I haven’t yet tried everything these are a few we have enjoyed.

I’m a HUGE fan of Pho Mai. Of course they have great pho, but what I really love is the Beef and Potatoes. I could eat it every day. The savory and salty beef and the slightly crunchy/chewy potatoes are so good. The sesame chicken is also GREAT.

We also love to stop in to CrunCheese for a Korean Hot Dog when we’re making a trip to the Costco across the street. While the original (seen here) is my favorite they have lots of other options too including the Mozzarella & Hotdog, Potato Hotdog, 100% cheese options and more.

For my birthday, we went to Hot Pot City, which is great for special occasions. You select flavored broths and meats that are brought to your table by a fun cat robot and then head to the veggie bar to select the vegetables, noodles and more that you want to add to your hot pot to cook. We love that everyone can create their own combinations for individual meal preferences.

The Asia Mall is located at 12160 Technology Dr. Eden Prairie, MN 55344. The mall is open 10am- 9pm daily, although certain businesses many have different hours.
