Caponi Art Park in Eagan is hosting Fall Sound Garden Workshops and Live Performances from September 12th through 26th.
Caponi Art Park in Eagan is a super fun place to visit! It’s a 60-acre park filled with nature, a sculpture walk, walking paths, an outdoor ampitheater and more. They offer lots of fun programming throughout the year.
Coming up on September 12th – 26th, is Sound Garden at Caponi. There will be free community art, workshops, live performances and more during this time.
Caponi Art Park will be hosting 3 free workshops: a poetry and creative writing in nature workshop, a music and sound in nature workshop, and natural sculpture workshop. Following the workshops, the creations will be incorporated into the Fall Sound Garden. So come to a workshop to create your own art and then head to Caponi the following weekend to see it during the event!
Fall Sound Garden Workshops
Saturday, September 12th
- Poetry and Creative Writing in Nature Workshop | 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Free | Space is limited | Registration Required
Open to Ages 14 and up. Kids under 16 should be accompanied by an adult. - Guided Poetry Tour | 1:00 p.m.
Free | Registration onsite at the Sound Garden Greeter Table. Limited to 10 people.
Saturday, September 19th
- Sound Garden Natural Sculpture Workshop | 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Free | Space is Limited | Registration is required
Open to Ages 5 and up. Kids under 16 should be accompanied by an adult. - Spatial Sounds in Nature Workshop | 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Free | Space is limited | Registration is Required
Open to Ages 8 and up. Kids under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
The workshops are all free to attend, but you do need to register online. You can register on the Caponi Art Park website.
