Are your kiddos obsessed with the CoComelon TV show? You’ve got to check out the new CoComelon Playdate Attraction at Mall of America!
My kiddos and I have always been big fans of CoComelon. The songs are catchy and fun, and the episodes are the perfect length for me to get a task accomplished around the house while my kids are entertained. When I saw CoComelon Playdate opened in November at Mall of America, I knew we had to check it out!
At almost 4,000 sq feet, the CoComelon Playdate is a fun stop at the Mall of America. It’s a fully enclosed play area with tons to do! Slides, ball pit, ride on toys, interactive imaginative play and more. The space seemed big without being overwhelming and I liked that it was all in one area with a secure entry. There were very clean bathrooms inside the play area and a small cafe to buy snacks and drinks. Outside snacks and drinks are allowed in the seating area, but they do ask for all snacks to be nut-free.
My youngest is almost 3 and her favorites were the Firetruck imaginative play area, the ride on toys, small slides and the ball pit. I’m sure she could have played for a few hours if we didn’t have other things to do at the mall! We went on a Thursday and it wasn’t very busy. I was hoping to see some CoComelon characters but we were told they stop by on Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
CoComelon Playdate is $15.99/child with adults and infants six months and under FREE. You can buy tickets on their website or in person. Socks are required for both adults and kids, each child receives a pair of grippy socks with their admission and adults can wear regular socks or purchase grippy socks for an additional charge. CoComelon Playdate is located at the Mall of America on the third level. It’s super easy if you head to the east lot and park on P4, which provides direct access to level three.
CoComelon playdate is a good choice for younger kiddos that are a bit too little for other attractions at Mall of America. I’ve often felt my youngest kiddos get left out of many of the rides, so I think this is fun alternative for my youngest. It’s also a must for kids that love CoComelon. Getting to see the show brought to life is amazing and they keep the CoComelon tunes so you can sing and dance along during your visit!
Tell us- do you think you’ll go check out the CoComelon Playdate? I want to go back on a weekend to see some of our favorite characters!
