With multiple locations in the Twin Cities, you need to visit Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop for their nostalgic candy, soda shop and famous $5 Candy Buffet!
My son and I stumbled upon Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop in Bloomington this week and decided to stop in. Boy were we in for treat– literally and figuratively!
Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop is a huge store filled with nostalgic candies, a giant soda pop wall, ice cream, toys, puzzles and more.
What they are known for is their $5 Candy Buffet! You can pick a box and fill it to them brim for only $5, as long as it can close shut! Candy choices vary but when we visited there were tons of gummies, chocolates and even candies from overseas. It was a fun way for kids and adults to pick out their favorites and try something new!
Personally I enjoyed walking around and seeing all the fun toys! They had great White Elephant or Secret Santa gifts, and very cool screen-free gift options for kids. Tons of games, puzzles, sensory fidgets and more. I will definitely be back closer to the holidays this year.
Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop has locations across the US. There are 3 locations in Minnesota including Bloomington, Stillwater and Spring Lake Park.
